This Service Is for Data Recovery Only
Our international mail-in service covers logic board data recovery — we do not offer screen, battery, or general repairs by mail from overseas. Before starting any recovery work, we check the condition of your device to confirm whether data can be retrieved.
We strongly recommend shipping only the logic board, not the full phone. In Malaysia this part is often called a ‘motherboard’ — it’s the same component.
How to Pack and Prepare Your Logic Board
Two options for shipping — we recommend Option 1 to keep customs simple and reduce shipping risk.
Option 1: Logic Board Only
Remove the battery and LCD screen, then ship just the logic board. This is lighter, cheaper to ship, and avoids most customs/import tax issues since it’s not a complete device
- 1. Power off and remove the battery
- 2. Detach the LCD/screen assembly
- 3. Wrap the logic board in a bag + padding
Option 2: Full Device
If you’re not comfortable opening your device, you can ship it as a complete unit. Please note that shipping a complete device may increase the likelihood of customs inspection and import taxes when entering Malaysia.
Alternatively, you can detach the display and remove the battery, then ship only the housing with the logic board installed. This option may help reduce customs scrutiny and shipping risks.
- Use a rigid box, not just an envelope
- Add padding on all sides (bubble wrap or foam)
- Include a note with your name and a brief description of the issue
- Keep your tracking number — you'll need it for the next step
How You Get Your Data Back
Once we’ve recovered what’s accessible from your logic board, there are two ways to get it back.
We Ship the Logic Board Back to You
After recovery, we return the logic board to you. You (or a local technician) reinstall it into your device to access your data directly
Backup to iCloud, Restore on Another Device
We back up your recovered data to iCloud. You can then restore it onto another iPhone — no need to wait for the board to ship back. Note: this requires purchasing additional iCloud storage if your recovered data exceeds your current plan
We’ll confirm which option works best for your case after checking your device’s condition.
Pay Only After We Confirm the Repair
We assess your logic board first and send you a video showing its condition and what we can recover before asking for any payment. Once you approve, we proceed with the work.
Payment is accepted in USD via PayPal or cryptocurrency. Since PayPal charges a processing fee, a 5% surcharge is added to PayPal payments — this fee doesn’t apply if you pay by crypto
Getting Your Device Back to You
Return shipping is not included in the repair cost and is calculated based on your country and courier rates. We recommend DHL for reliable international tracking and delivery times.
Once your logic board is ready to ship back (or your data has been transferred via iCloud), we’ll confirm the return shipping cost with you before sending it out.

- Declare the item as “spare part” or “electronic component,” not “phone”
- Keep declared value under RM500 (or your country’s low-value threshold) to avoid triggering import duty
- Do not mark the package as a gift if it isn’t — customs may flag inconsistent declarations
